The Panasonic ES8243A Arc IV Nanotech shaver is equipped with a quadruple foil and 4 cutting blades. Cutting surface has been expanded by 32% to enhance to shaving quality of each stroke. The blades on this device are powered by 13,000 rpm linear motor to give the device lighting fast shaving speed the cut through even the thickest of beards.
The Panasonic ES8234A incorporates Nanotechnology and has an expanded cutting surface which spreads out the pressure when the shaver is applied to skin. This means it limits irritation as much as possible. The foils and blades on the razor are ‘arced’ – this means they nestle gently into skin to get down deeper and give a closer shave.
The high speed linear motor operates at 13,000 rpm, which is a huge step above many other similar razors, which usually operate at around 8,000 to 10,000rpm.

The ES8243 A can be used for both wet shaving and dry shaving, and features a liquid crystal display which indicates how much battery power is remaining and also reminds you when the razor needs to be cleaned.
Even the cleaning speed is super fast. If you hold the razor under some water and activate the Turbo mode, the razor accelerates to 17,000 rpm, shaking off any hairs and whiskers.
Ergonomically, this shaver is easy to hold, and thanks to the design of the head, it’s not too difficulty to hit all the tricky areas of the neck. Being as there are 4 blades rather than 3, shaving time is reduced, as it takes a razor much less time to get in close and produce a good shave.
The performance of the ES8243 really excels for wet shaving. If you like to shave in the shower, you can probably get your whole shave finished in about 3 minutes. Many users have been impressed with how little hair and dirt seems to build whilst still producing a good quality shave. Most people don’t see the need for pre-shave face washing as the model usually doesn’t cause any irritation or soreness.
